I was working with WHBM on an Instagram project (see the video here), and loved some of the pieces so much I wanted to share some more details on here! I’ve been a longtime fan of the brand for their more unique pieces (like this stunning dress!) and fit that usually requires no alterations on me. They also offer free shipping and returns for petite apparel since it’s an online-only department. While I got each of these pieces in petite sizing, many of them also come in standard sizing and longer inseam lengths!

1. High Rise Jeans

In classic (with three inseams), petite & curvy sizes

Wow – these are one of the best fitting jeans I’ve tried in a slim-straight style and I hope they’ll come out with more washes and non-distressed versions too in the same exact fit. These have the familiar, flattering look of skinny jeans but in a more updated cut. Their petite pant sizing actually hits above my ankle with a 24″ inseam and doesn’t need to be cut or hemmed further. While this particular pair does have distressing, the distressed areas are all reinforced with patches of denim underneath so none of your skin is actually showing. The high rise is very comfortable, not too high, and leaves no waist gap on me. Compare to my Levi’s which are more of a rigid non stretch denim, these are a stretchier soft denim.

2. Studio Blazer (in ecru, navy, and blue)

In regular & petite sizing

Such a sharp looking, nice quality blazer with a full lining. There are currently no reviews under petite sizing, but if you click into the standard sizing you’ll find a few dozen reviews. This blazer has a tailored fit on me and is made of a medium weight (not thin) woven twill fabric with a bit of stretch. The crest buttons are a nice pop against the crisp white without being as contrasting as gold would be. The interior of the sleeves have a preppy contrast stripe which you can show off if you opt to flip them and wear them at 3/4 length. Or, if you’re not a fan they can stay folded down and hidden!

3. Comfort Stretch Slim Ankle Pants (more inseam options)

In 9 colors in short, regular and long inseams.

I really like WHBM’s comfort stretch collection and have a few pieces from over the years! As with the jeans, the fit is very petite friendly with no waist gap and a perfect length that hits right above the ankle, even for shorties like myself (under 5′ tall). True to its name, the material is stretchy and comfortable for sitting long periods of time while still looking sleek and professional. Compared to my other favorite J.Crew Cameron pants which fit a tad bit smaller at the waist, these are a little more comfortable for all day wear due to the stretch.

4. Tweed Nautical Jacket

In petite & regular sizing

Chanel-inspired with a chunkier textured, braided yarn trim. Due to the style it has a shorter and boxier fit compared to the slim, tailored fit of the white blazer above, but looks nice paired with higher waisted bottoms and jeans.

Hi Jean! How high is the rise of these straight jeans from WHBM? Do they go all the way to your waist?

    Hi Jean,

Are your measurements still the same 32-24-32 (bust-waist-hips)?

I want to get the SLEEVELESS PLEATED MINI DRESS though it left only 00P size. My measurements are 31.5-26-34, afraid that it would be too snug.

    Thanks!

Absolutely love how you’ve accessorized both pant looks. I’m always looking for great looking short jackets to give me a longer leg look. Can hardly wait to go try on the “Chanel” jacket w black & white trim. Thanks!!
