Petite-Friendly Loungewear Reviews

petite tie dye jogger set veja sneakers

Socialite pants xs (petite-friendly; 10 colors) + pullover top xs, $12 headband, Veja sneakers 35 (my review)

With single digit temperatures arriving in Boston this weekend, I’m planning on staying cozy inside for the next couple of days! For optimal comfort at home, I wanted to review a few loungewear finds at Nordstrom including these petite-friendly coordinates. Below are some of their mix-and-match waffle knit options you can get in the same solid or tie dye color schemes. The beautiful solid blue as well as neutral camel were other top contenders for me if you want a slightly more elevated look!

Note the waffle knit material is a lightweight, soft fleeced finish fabric suited for lounging indoors or PJs, and isn’t something heavy enough to be worn out in cold weather. If you’re looking for something with a smooth fabric feel that can be worn as activewear or outdoors for errands, I’d recommend these amazing petite-friendly Zella joggers that I’ve blogged a few times and reviewed here!

This velvet headband (2 colors) also deserves some love as a fabulous find for $12. It’s padded for a stylish amount of thickness without looking over the top, and can be dressed up for more elegant or work outfits. I own my fair share of headbands (esp. for keeping back thinning postpartum hair) and this one is good enough to get in both colors.

mockneck dolman top lounge outfit

Mockneck dolman pullover (6 colors) xxs, Socialite joggers (10 colors) xs, similar hat, similar sneakers

Mockneck dolman pullover – 40% off in select colors! Material is drapey and lightweight with a very soft, cozy finish like the pants. Dolman style sleeves that narrow down towards the wrists, and a curved hem that is not too long on petite ladies. I got xxs but for a more relaxed piece like this, I could’ve gone a size up as well.

nursing friendly wrap top outfit

All in Favor wrap top (nursing friendly) – Another very soft, cozy piece that is a little more generously cut and longer in fit than the above tops so I usually wear it with more fitted bottoms like my Zella 7/8 length leggings. The wrap V neck comes lower so best styled over a cami – I usually layer this over a nursing tank or bra and it’s super easy to pull the wrap to the side to nurse or pump!

Love the wrap top – almost went to buy it, but it says the care is hand-wash only! Do you have a recommendation for similar wrap/nursing-friendly top that can be machine washed?

Hi Jaime, I’ve washed it on cold, gentle cycle, turned inside out in a mesh garment bag. I wash pretty much all my “hand wash” clothes this way!

Definitely here for the tie dye!. I have been wanting to add a tie dye option to my lounge wear lineup for a while. I am around your height, 5’1, so I’m excited to try this set

Hi Jean! Thanks for the great recs as always, especially comfy ones! Wondering what color is the waffle knit outfit? The Nordstrom website has a navy option that appears lighter than your photos – wasn’t sure if your color was sold out!

Hi Betty! It’s actually called “black” online and in person it is a blend of grey and black – I still see it fully stocked!

THanks, Jill! Agreed, I’ve been trying to put a little more effort into my outfits even if its just loungewear – just a little something to help me get into a better mindset for the day!
